Ports of Call

Cozumel, Mexico

Dive into bright-blue waters, Mayan ruins and spicy specialties in Cozumel and Cancun.

Cancun and Cozumel are two of the most-visited destinations on Mexico's Yucatan peninsula, but there's a lot more to them than beautiful beaches and world-class nightlife. Add an ancient component to your Yucatan adventure with excursions to the Mayan sites at Chichen Itza and Tulum. Or work off your margaritas with a spelunking expedition inside a Cenote cave. Cancun and Cozumel cuisine will be somewhat familiar to you, through stateside dishes like chile relleno and ceviche, but you'll also taste more regional-specific ingredients like local sour oranges and achiote paste, a bright-red blend of annato seeds, cumin and other spices.

EXCLUSIVE SHORE EXCURSION:

Escape to paradise and discover the beauty of one of the top attractions on the island of Cozumel. Hop aboard an open safari bus that will drive you to a magical place where a world of activity and adventure awaits you. Inside of the Eco Park of Punta Sur you will see crocodiles and sea birds in their natural habitat, an ancient Mayan ruin with a fascinating purpose and farther down the dirt road you can climb an old lighthouse for sweeping views of the Caribbean and check out the small maritime museum. Your last stop is a secluded private beach surrounded by stunning white sand and crystal clear waters where you will have approximately 1:45 hrs. of time at leisure.  Swim in the ocean, enjoy a fajita lunch, practice stand-up paddle boarding or just relax and admire the magnificence of the nature, before being taking back to the pier.

The archaeological site of “San Gervasio” is the most important and well studied prehispanic site of all the documented settlements in Cozumel Island. It is named after its location in the former “San Gervasio” ranch.

This archaeological set has been considered the center of pilgrimages where the Mayan worshiped the Goddess “Ixchel”. Besides being a Mayan sacred center it was a strategic site for commerce and the politic development of the area.

The area is constituted by six architectural sets and other isolated temples joined by a network of white roads called “sacbés” They are of great interest and give us an idea of how the Mayan developed their religious, administrative and daily life activities.

Georgetown, Grand Cayman

Grand Cayman is where the high life meets island life. This international banking haven is as much known for award-winning beaches as for the flocks of celebrities and high rollers that frequent them. You can sip Cayman Mama’s while rubbing shoulders with the global glitterati. During your Grand Cayman cruise, you can snorkel with stingrays in Stingray City. Treat your inner foodie at eateries established by acclaimed top chefs like Michael Schwartz, or chow down on conch fritters by the seashore.
